Sutradhar initiated a features service for the mainstream press – both English and Kannada – in 1996 in order to promote reading and writing on education.

With the growing reach of the Internet, in 2007 the features service was reformatted as ‘The Sutradhar Quarterly’, an e-zine. The e-zine aims to create a virtual network and platform to share resources, as early learning educators are few in number and scattered across the country. The articles in the e-zine have a focus on early learning, education, play, and learning resources. They feature news, policy trends, teachers’ reflections, and information. |
